Mount Kit Cha Kood trip part2

Then after the short while the bus arrived at Wat Kating where we needed to change the vehicle to go up to mount Kit Cha Kood. Luckily, we don't need to stay on the line to get the ticket for the truck, because MBTA's was already took care for us, so we can get on the mountain without any delay. It’s very convenient for us. The excitement of the trip started at this spot because the trail to the mount Kit Cha Kood was goes through very narrow path and sharp turn. It feel like the longest roller coaster. It was so enjoy and exciting to go up to the forest mountain.

Then we arrived at the foot of the mountain. There were a shop where we could buy the Buddha's offering which they costed 100 baht per set. We started with payed the respect for the mother earth and asked her to allow us the safe passage to the mountain and lord shivali monk for fortune and prosper. Then we headed to the top of Mount Kit Cha Kood, by the way, we donated 5 baht for the support stick. we thought it might be useful later. That day, there weren’t many people as much as we expected to be. The weather was rather stuffy, but we were in good spirit. The mountain filled with mystical and spiritual feeling, we saw the people spread marigold leaf along the path, rock, and sideways. Many people placed joss stick on the rock, they were also tried to place the coin on the big rock as well. It was looked amazing, so we were also try to place the coin on the rock too. It took us many times to manage to do it successfully. There were many beautiful site scenes as we climbed up the mountain we also took the photo of beautiful scenery along the way. The step up to the mountain wasn't really hard but the path of 1.2 KM was drain us a lot of energy because we weren't use to do this often. The path was rough but we were on really high spirit. It wasn't just us there were elder, teenage, and children whom tried to climb the mountain. We also took some rest along the way. At near by the top we took the short path to visit "Big tiger trail" where it was appeared to be respectful elder statue ware tiger cloth. People came to pay respect to him. There was also the scenery of golden Buddha statue stand on the cliff of the mountain he was so amazing.

Continuous up ahead we pass through passage of heaven door where the heart of the trip was. Up ahead there were appeared to be giant rock that people believed it looked like turn over Bath (the pot that monk always carry). There was also under knee of the giant rock, there was Lord Buddha’s Foot-print. Our trial of faith had ended we finally reached the top where Lord Buddha’s Foot-print was, we were fell so bless. There were many people payed the respect and they were also asked for one wish. Luckily we were be able to get really close to the Lord footprint. We payed the respect by prayed and place the gold and the flower on his footprint. There was also a monk who lead the pray dialog. I also wished for my family's prosper. Then we just took a lot of photos, resting, and we also walked to merits. Until 3.30 p.m. we went down from the mount which it didn't take much time as we climbed up. we were getting on the 4 Wheel Drive that took us to the bus parking lot. At the time we were so hungry, so we took a time to eat at the cafeteria near by. At 5:00 p.m. the bus took us back the Bangkok.
The trip was showed the spirit, faith of the people who climb ed the mount to worship the Lord Buddha’s Foot-print. We saw many elder climb up with smile on their face. It fell so nice. Since everybody have believed in goodness of Buddha, they tried to show their spirit and faith by climbing the mountain to pays the respect to the Buddha. After all I believed that we may already got one wish. We fell so bless to be here. Thank you BMTA's (bus) to take us here.

Mount Kit Cha Kood trip part1

On the April 6.2013, my sisters and me went to YOD KHAO PHRABAHT at the mount Kit Cha Kood. The mount Kit Cha Kood is at Chanthaburi. We went there by BMTA's tour (Thai Mateo bus). On mount Kit Cha Kood has the tradition of worshipping Buddha’s footprint or another name is Phabath-Ploung held during the third month of the year.

We took the trip with metro bus, because the price was right and they took care everything. The price of metro bus is cost only 479 baht per person to go to mount Kit Cha Kood and another 200 bath for getting on the mountain by pick-up truck. We arrive at Bang ken bus station and leave from the station at 6.30 a.m.  We get on the bus number 4 the guide of the tour name was Mam, she was very friendly and nice person. I believed everybody in the bus like her, she gave us the guide and all the value information about the places that we were about to go.

At 10.30 a.m. the bus arrived at the rest area where we got some brake and breakfast from the long trip. We got Rice Mixed with Shrimp paste (Kao Cluk Ka Pi ) the price was 50 bath. Then the bus took us to the first tourist spot. We arrived khao sukim,  P'Mam the tour guide gave us the time for visiting the temple for an hour.  The temple had many big Buddha statues. The guide tour told us to pay the respected to “Siramahamongkol venerable monk ” by walk at the top peak.

There were the long step's stir to the top of the peak, and there was also the cable car for some people could choose to get on cable car to the top. The rail of stir was decorated with King of Nagas architecture. By the time, we got to the top we were so tried but it was worth it. The scenery was really beautiful and amazing at the top. We arrived to top of the peak where the temple were. At the top we saw the “Siramahamongkol Buddha sculpture”. Then there were the buildings for keeping many antiques which were created by jade and marble, they were looked like a grand museum up there, including the legendary famous monks wax, they were look so real. It was really amazing experience.
The part of second floor was consisting of sacred objects. And outside, there was large patio area that we could see all the mountain and the forest, including many rare flower. The view at the top was so beautiful. We were also took many photo. Furthermore there was underground floor that lead to Buddha Relics or people called PATARD. Some Buddha Relics were ruby and rock which have many colors. They were 273 kind of Buddha Relics. People believed that all the rock and ruby came from the part Buddha himself or the respectful monk who had let go of all sin and become PA AURAHAN. It was amazing experience to see some rare things like that with my own eyes. At 11.30 a.m. was recalled time to get back to the bus, we quickly went back to the bus. There were other site of temple was really interesting, but we don't have enough time so we were only taking quick photo for keepsake.
